Luciano Sandrone Dolcetto D'Alba 2004 750ml Red
Dark violet. Consistently one of the region’s top wines, Sandrone’s 2004 Dolcetto is an updated interpretation of a classic. It offers varietal notes of dark blue/black fruit, spices, smoke, and licorice, with good length, closing with a slightly bitter note on the finish.
Process
Gentle maceration in upright open-top steel tanks for the first 5-6 days of the alcoholic fermentation

Luciano Sandrone Valmaggiore Nebbiolo D'Alba 2003 750ml Red
Earthy and sumptuous nose, really blooms out. Deep dark colour. Graphite, dust, meat and funky fruit off the top. Great body, very rich. Long finish with mushroom and fruit. Quite complex, great elements and good depth.
Process
12 months in French oak tonneaux of 500l, followed by 9 months in bottle.
